FindJob88Days (“FindJob88Days”, “we”, “us”) operates the website findjob88days.comand a Telegram-based assistant that helps working-holiday-visa (subclass 417/462) travellers in Australia find eligible “specified work” employers, prepare personalised job applications, send them from the traveller’s own Gmail account, monitor employer replies, and report results. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are (data controller)

FindJob88Days is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@findjob88days.com.

2. Data we collect

a. Information you give us

  • Account and contact details: name, email address, Telegram identifier, language, country/region, current location and mobility, English level, visa type (417/462) and eligibility answers.
  • Your CV/résumé and the answers you provide during onboarding (work preferences, availability, target sectors and regions).
  • Payment information processed by our payment provider Stripe (we do not store your card number; Stripe does).

b. Google account data (via Google APIs, only with your explicit consent)

When you connect your Gmail account, we request the minimum Google scopes needed for the features below:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send — after you give one explicit general authorisation and activate your campaign, to send personalised job-application emails automatically from your own Gmail account. This scope permits sending; it does not permit reading, modifying or deleting your mailbox.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly — to identify and read replies in Gmail threads initiated by FindJob88Days, so we can detect relevant employer responses, classify them (interested / not interested / needs information) and notify you. This scope is read-only: it does not permit us to modify or delete messages. We do not use it to scan or index your wider mailbox for unrelated purposes.

c. Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical and usage data (log data, timestamps, error diagnostics) needed to operate the service securely.

3. How we use data

We use the data above only to:

  • Match you with employers that count toward the 88-day requirement and are relevant to your profile, region and visa.
  • Create personalised applications from the profile and campaign settings you confirm, then send them automatically from Gmail after your one-time general authorisation and campaign activation. Individual emails do not require separate approval.
  • Monitor and interpret employer replies and keep you informed (Telegram notifications, daily reports).
  • Provide support, prevent abuse, secure the service, and comply with law.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build user profiles for purposes unrelated to the service.

Data obtained through Google Workspace APIs is never used to develop, improve, or train generalised or non-personalised AI or machine-learning models.

4. Limited Use of Google user data

FindJob88Days' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, for data obtained through Gmail restricted and sensitive scopes:

  • We use the data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy.
  • We do not transfer or sell this data to third parties, except as necessary to provide the service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with equivalent protections.
  • We do not use this data for serving advertisements.
  • We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised AI/ML models.
  • We allow humans to read this data only (a) with your explicit consent for specific messages, (b) where necessary for security or to comply with law, or (c) where the data is aggregated and anonymised for internal operations. No human at FindJob88Days reads the content of your Gmail for any other reason.

5. How we share data

  • Service providers (sub-processors): hosting and database (Supabase), application hosting (Vercel), payment (Stripe), and AI processing (Anthropic). Anthropic receives only the information needed to personalise applications and, where relevant, the content required to classify replies in threads initiated by the service. This processing is performed only to provide FindJob88Days to you, not to train generalised or non-personalised AI/ML models. Providers act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Employers covered by your authorised campaign: personalised application emails are sent automatically from your Gmail to employers matched to the profile, preferences and campaign settings you confirmed.
  • We never sell your data and never share Google user data with advertising networks.

6. Data retention and deletion

  • OAuth tokens are retained while Gmail remains connected and your account or campaign requires the Gmail features. Sending metadata, reply classifications and limited excerpts needed to operate and audit the service are retained only for the active service period and any legally required period. Full mailbox content is not retained as a general mailbox archive.
  • You can disconnect Gmail at any time (see Section 7). On disconnection or account deletion, we stop Gmail access, revoke or invalidate stored tokens, and delete associated Google user data we hold within 30 days, except where a longer period is required by law, security or fraud-prevention obligations.
  • To request deletion, contact privacy@findjob88days.com; we also honour deletion via the in-product controls.

7. Your choices and controls

  • Revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account: myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by contacting us. Revoking stops all further sending and reply-monitoring.
  • Pause or stop the agent at any time from Telegram or the available account controls. A pause stops new automated application sends while preserving the account until you resume or delete it.
  • Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting privacy@findjob88days.com.
  • Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, or other laws (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection).

8. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, restricted access controls, encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, and monitoring. We limit access to Google user data to the systems that provide the features above. We will report security incidents affecting your data as required by law and by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

9. Children

The service is intended for adults (working-holiday-visa holders, 18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own (including Australia, the EU, and the United States) by us and our sub-processors, with appropriate safeguards in place.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting Google user data will be communicated before they take effect.
