Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what the service needs: your account details (email, name), your CV, your questionnaire answers (visa type, regions, job preferences, availability), and the applications your agent prepares. If you connect a Gmail inbox, we store an encrypted authorisation token — never your password.

How we use your Gmail access

Sending applications you approved, and reading replies to those applications so we can notify you. That is all. Gmail data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings or from your dashboard.

Who we share data with

Our processors, strictly to run the service: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing of your CV and application drafts), Google (email sending), Sentry and PostHog (reliability and product analytics). Some processors run infrastructure outside Australia; where they do, we disclose it here in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Employers we contact

We keep a directory of Australian businesses that hire seasonal and visa-holding workers, built from professional contact information. Any employer can ask to stop being contacted — one request removes them permanently for all our users.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account revokes inbox access immediately and purges your data within 30 days. Questions or complaints: privacy@aijobhunter.com.au (placeholder). You can also contact the OAIC.

Security

Inbox tokens are encrypted at rest, database access is isolated per user, and we never store passwords for your email accounts. We notify affected users and the OAIC of any eligible data breach as required by law.
